AP Automation Products

Seam Tracking

The ultra-rugged, microprocessor-based STC-301 automatic seam welding system keeps the welding torch exactly on track, regardless of variation in the weld joint.

Orbital TIG

Orbital TIG is a mechanized TIG welding process for joining pipe and tube using a clamp-on weld head. Our three families of weld heads enable fusion welding of small diameter, thin-wall tubing; high amperage multipass welding; and tube-to-sheet welding.

Arc Voltage Control

The AVC-5 arc voltage control system regulates arc length to allow convenient, flexible control of all welding conditions. High frequency is no longer required with our new, patented Lift-Startâ„¢ process.

Magnetic Arc Control

AP Automation systems provide arc position control, arc weaving, arc stabilizing, and arc pattern control -- perfect for thick-to-thin material, wide weld joints, and high-speed TIG welding.

TIG Wire Feed

The AP Automation DWF-4 cold wire feed system automatically delivers TIG and plasma filler wire to the welding arc. It includes a precision stepper motor, accurate between .1 and 300 ipm, and a precise, 4-axis wire guide manipulator. The extreme accuracy of this system places it at the very top of its market.

Automation Systems

AP Automation and Arc Products have twenty years of experience building custom automation systems for simple and complex applications. Our rugged equipment incorporates the latest, proven technologies and is offered to you at very competitive pricing.

Weld Positioners

AP Automation's rugged, reliable weld positioners provide precise alignment of weld torch to weld joint with weights up to 450 lbs. Built for long-term performance in the toughest welding environments. Motorized slide control and weld oscillators available.

Pipe Rotation

The simple, inexpensive way to rotate and position pipe for welding, cutting, and painting. AP Automation offers three versatile models for handling pipe of up to 10' diameter and weighing as much as 10,000 pounds.
